Itinerary
Day 1: By Train - Delhi to Amritsar

On arrival at Amritsar station, pick up and transfer to your hotel and check-in.

Option 1 (Morning Shatabdi Exp) - (Dep. New Delhi at 0720 hrs/ Arr. Amritsar at 1330 hrs)

Option 2 (Afternoon Vande Bharat) - (Dep. Old Delhi at 1515 hrs/ Arr. Amritsar at 2045 hrs)

Your tour starts from Delhi by board on the train to Amritsar (You have to reach Delhi train station at your own).


Tea/ Snacks and meals are served on the train as per fixed menu planned by Indian railway/ IRCTC Catering.


Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 2: In Amritsar - Sightseeing

Today morning, after breakfast, we will leave for Harminder Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple. Later proceed to visit Jallianwala Bagh- This historical area is known for the massacre commissioned by General Dyer, during the British Rule and Museum.


Afternoon, we will proceed to Wagah-Attari (Indo-Pak Border) to see an evening parade of guard changing ceremony and lowering of the flag. By late evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive to Katra (260 Kms/ 5-6 hrs)

Today morning, post breakfast you will check out from the hotel and drive to Katra. It will take 5-6 hrs to reach there, Katra town is the base station for Maa Vaishno Devi Yatra. (Rest Day or if you want you can start yatra late night).

Day 4: In Katra - Maa Vaishno Devi Bhawan - Katra

Today early morning, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan. The temple is situated on the top of the hill, situated in the lap of Trikuta Mountains across Katra town at an altitude of around 5200 feet. Yatra upto Bhawan involves a trek of approximately 12-13 Kms (one way) from Katra base camp known as Ban Ganga, and usually takes around 5-6 hours to reach the shrine. Ponies, Palkis, Pithoos, Porters, Battery car, etc. are other means of transport available during yatra for assisting devotees/ yatris, senior citizens and children. (You can trek to Bhawan or can hire ponies, palki, and battery rickshaws from the shrine board ON DIRECT PAYMENT basis.


After performing Mata Vaishno Devi darshans, seek blessings at the holy cave and explore the shrine complex. If time permits, visit Bhairo Temple & return to Katra in the evening and relax at your hotel.


Important Notes:

1) All passengers are requested to register online for Yatra Registration Slip (Yatra Parchi) on Shrine Board official website www.maavaishnodevi.org

2) Passengers/ Yatris registered through Online mode are requested to collect RFID yatra access card before commencement of yatra from Yatra Registration Counter (YRC) established at Katra (Bus Stand, Railway Station, Niharika Complex, Counter No.02, Serli Helipad) and Vaishnavi Dham Jammu & Jammu Airport.

3) Yatra Registration is Mandatory and must be carry all time during the yatra.

4) Only postpaid mobile numbers work in Jammu & Kashmir.

5) DPauls does not provide any facility of VIP/Priority Entry/Darshan at any Monuments/shrines/places of interest mentioned in the itinerary. DPauls shall not be responsible for any loss of sight-seeing/Darshan, nor shall be liable for any refunds in case the Darshan cannot be completed owing to reasons such as delay in Darshan due to heavy rush, VIP Govt. Official Movements and closure by govt. agencies etc.

Day 5: Departure Transfer/ Train : Katra to New Delhi

Option 1 : (Morning Vande Bharat Exp) - (Dep. Katra at 0600 hrs/ Arr. New Delhi at 1400 hrs)

Option 2 : (Afternoon SVDK Vande Bharat) - (Dep. Katra at 1500 hrs/ Arr. New Delhi at 2300 hrs)

Today, we will transfer to Katra railway station in time to board on the train to New Delhi.

Supplement / Add-On Cost/ Upgrade Charges -

1) For minimum 02 Pax – The supplement cost for operating a trip with minimum 02 pax/ upgrade into an exclusive private vehicle @ INR 4,500/- per person additional on above tour cost.

2) We will provide Sedan Car for 02 to 04 Pax. (Upgrade to Innova Car @ INR 5,000/- per vehicle)

3) The supplement cost to upgrade your train tickets into AC Executive Coach @ INR 3,500/- per person.

Note- Train tickets are subject to availability at the time of booking.


Supplement charges extra for booking on blackout dates, long weekend holidays, Maha Shivaratri, Pongal, Independence & Republic Day, Christmas & New Year, Holi & Other Local festival dates.

NOTES

  1. Our cost is based on base category rooms. If room upgrade is needed, supplement cost will be applicable.
  2. Minimum 04 pax are required to operate the trip on above-mentioned tour cost.
  3. Govt. ID with address proof is compulsory to carry during the train journey and to stay at hotel.
  4. No Tour Manager / staff shall accompany on tour/ Trek to Bhawan.
  5. DPauls reserves the right to cancel the Tour Program at any point of time arising out of various exigencies beyond its control.
  6. However, in case of increase in input costs such as railway fare or any other expenses beyond the control of DPAULS, the guests are liable to pay the additional amount before commencement of journey.
  7. DPAULS reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances, including but not limited to, bad weather, train delays/cancellations etc. Under such circumstances, DPAULS shall make best alternative arrangements guest are liable to pay any additional costs for making such arrangements.
  8. DPAULS shall not be responsible for any loss of sightseeing, visits to planned sites / Darshan in the itinerary.
  9. DPAULS doesn't guarantee Darshan at the shrine/temple/ places of interest mentioned in the itinerary.
  10. DPAULS will not entertain any VIP Entry/Priority Darshan at any monuments/shrines/places of interest mentioned in the itinerary.
  11. Seat allocation in trains is done in a random manner by Indian railways and DPAULS shall not entertain requests for any preferential seat/berth/coach allocation.
  12. Allotment of coach/seats done by Indian railway through its Centralized Passenger Reservation System only.
  13. We do not guarantee the allotment of seat/berth of your choice. Furthermore, we can't advise you whether your choice of berth is being allotted or not because it is all done by Indian railways passenger reservation system without any human interference.
  14. TATKAL Train tickets charges would be EXTRA (Subject to availability at the time of booking).
  15. We will provide seats in AC Chair Car Coach (Train sates are subject to availability), if not available in mentioned class or coming available in next higher class, than guests need to pay the train fare difference.
  16. Train tickets are issued based on minimum available fare.
  17. AC will not work in hill stations and vehicles may or may not have power windows.
  18. Some hotels charge extras for using heaters, it will be payable directly at the hotel.
  19. All sightseeing timings are subject to local road and traffic conditions.
  20. The transportation/ hotel cost is subject to change and charge extra on the tour cost, if there will be hike in the rates of fuel prices or increase in hotel rates due to changes in the Govt taxes.
  21. A service of cab and driver would be available and provided as per the itinerary, not for at disposal.
  22. No refund or reduction will be given for any services, which are not utilized.
  23. All buffet meal or room service will be provided as per hotel policy.
  24. Package Cost valid for mentioned period, except black out dates and long weekend holidays.
  25. The payments for additional service/ extra meals taken at hotel are to be settled directly at there.
  26. Early Check-in and late Check out room not included in the tour cost and subject to availability.


Remarks

  • The cost is not applicable for the Single travelling passenger.
  • Extra adult is the 3rd person who shares the same double room and is provided with an extra bed or roll away mattress.
  • Mostly the hotels allow 03 adults in one double room with an extra bed or 02 adults and 02 children below 12yrs. of age with one extra bed.
  • VANDE BHARAT EXP train – New Delhi to Amb run six days a week (except Friday).
  • Due to Covid Guidelines few of the services are not operational in hotel.
  • This is quote only and we are not holding any confirmed reservations either in hotel.
  • The booking is processed after receiving the advance amount. If we fail to give you confirmation on your requested date than entire advance amount is refundable to you.
  • We have made all possible efforts to make Hotel related information’s as authentic as possible. We hold no responsibility if any of the information is found to be incorrect/changed. We solicit discretion of the customer before finalizing the Hotel.


Terms and conditions during COVID-19.

1. 100% advance amount to be deposited by the guest to confirm the Hotel/Camp reservation.

2. Please provide government issued ids to process the reservation and need to carry physical copy during the travel and for stay at hotels.

3. Hotel vouchers are delivered in the email and in the given WhatsApp number of the booked guest.

4. The guest must carry confirmed Hotel voucher at the time of check-in at hotel.

5. Check in time is 1400 hrs and check out time is 1100 hrs.

6. Buffet services are unavailable in the Hotel restaurants.

7. Fixed /chef choice meals will be provided to the staying guests as per booked meal plans.

8. At Hotel entrance, hotel can ask you to display the status of aarogya setu app.

9. Guests showing any covid symptoms will be denied entry inside the Hotel. In such cases applied cancellation charges will be at the discretion of the booked Hotel.

10. All the guests are requested to follow hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene and environmental hygiene.

11. We shall not be bound to refund the amount held up with the service providers like airlines, Hotel etc unless they refund us in our bank account.

12. If due to pandemic the tour cannot be availed altogether then our liability will be limited to refund of tour money after deducting 5% of the tour costs and amount spent towards the booked services which is held up with service providers. Once the tour commences there shall be no refund.


Terms and Conditions

Advance booking amount to confirm the reservation. 100% of the package amount.

Cancellation charges 45 days before of date of travel - 20% of total package cost .

Cancellation charges between 30 to 45 days of date of travel - 30% of the total package amount

Cancellation charges between 15 to 30 days of date of travel - 50% of the total package amount

Cancellation charges within 10 to 15 days of date of travel - 75% of the total package amount

Cancellation charges within 10 days of date of travel - 100% package amount will be forfeited.


All the documents will be delivered via email and to your WhatsApp number only.


In case a passenger is denied entry to board the flight due to health conditions then the entire package amount shall be forfeited. A request to change the date will be considered as new booking only.

Online Booking Procedure

  • To book online, you need to make payment as per the minimum booking amount specified in “Book Online” section of this package OR Rs. 10,000/- per person.
  • As soon as you make an online booking, you will receive a booking voucher in your email.
  • You will receive a call from our support staff about your booking status.
  • We will start the process at our end while you sit back at home and dream about your holiday.
  • The balance payment would be collected as per the case mentioned below:
  • If you are booking within 10 days of date of travel,
    • You will need to make payment of 100% of the tour package cost/ tour components costs at time of booking process is undertaken.
    • Any amendment or cancelation made by traveler would be chargeable as per cancellation policy.
  • If you are booking within 10 – 20 days of date of travel,
    • You will need to make payment of 75% of the tour package cost / tour components costs at the time of booking process is undertaken.
    • Any amendment or cancelation made by traveler would be chargeable as per cancellation policy.
    • Balance payment will be required to be paid at the time of confirmation of booking.
  • If you are booking within more than 20 days of date of travel,
    • You will need to make payment of booking amount of Rs. 20,000/- per pax at the time of booking process is undertaken.
    • Any amendment or cancelation made by traveler would be chargeable as per cancellation policy.
    • Balance payment will be required to be paid at the time of confirmation of booking.
  • If your booking is having tour components which needs guaranteed booking as per stipulated condition,
    • You will need to make payment of 100% of the tour package cost/ tour components costs at time of booking process is undertaken.
    • No cancellation will be allowed once booking is made even if by some reason short payment has been made. The tourist will have to make entire payment whether he or she travels or not.
  • Once the entire package formalities are completed at our end, our representative will share package to you.
